If anybody has made some custom interior door panels (not just RS stuff, but anything), please share pictures!

Thinking about making my own...but unsure of the "slab" RS panel look...might throw some pleats on the vinyl

Dear Spencer..Several years ago, when I was doing a complete resto on a 1955 190SL, I had to remake the door panels. I used an aircraft material known as Kydex, as a base material. It is a form of PVC, comes in sheets, and can have leather or anything sewn or bonded to it. It was a bout 1/16th inch thick and is used to make aircraft interiors. It can be formed easily with a heat gun. Good stuff. I intend to use it again when I redo the interior of my ancient Datsun. .02cents..Hope that this might help.
