Default Lo-Tek Pod Help

For those who have installed a Lo-Tek pod, do you use the screws that they supply you to screw it in? For me, they were too thick, so I used the ones off the stock a-pillar trim in the middle hole on the Lo-tek. As of now, I have no screw in the top hole, because it does not line up whatsoever with the hole on the body. Did anyone else experience a no top hole aligning situation?

Thanks
Mike

I only used the middle one (that Lotek provided) - my top hole also didn't align, and it was so tight after being tucked underneath the roof liner that I didn't care.

The top hole is a bit off from being straight in. From the opening on the pillar, it goes up a bit and at a slight angle. HTH....

I just left it out and it will probably stay like that, headliner and door seal hold it in pretty tight.

neither one of mine lined up for some reason, so i drilled a hole for each hole into the a-pillar just like the installation instructions called for. unfortunately even with a new hole drilled for the middle screw hole, i can't get the screw in with a guage in, so i leave it out.

I drilled the top hole as well.
