RF951

First off this is not a Porsche vs. Covette thread.

My buddy has a new Z 06 and we had the chance to drive them back to back testerday. My purpose for posting here is that I was shocked how a 17 year old 951 compared in feel and driving experience. No mine wasn't faster. But the feel of the power and handling was amazingly similar. So similar that he couldn't believe it.

We see these newer cars on the road all the time and it's easy to think that you would like to have a newer, faster, better car. The design of this car has stood the test of time. I still can't figure out why the 944 series of cars is so unloved. That coming from asomeone who is a 911 owner as well!

I just had to tell you folks about my experience. God I love this car.
