Default @&#!**&%$!!!!

Driving home from work today I thought I heard a new noise. Sure enough, a musical kind of "ting...ting" noise on deceleration. I was catching up to traffic getting on the highway so for the next couple blocks I figured out how to make the noise and tried to figure out what it was, no red lights or bad gauge readings. As I got onto Rt 22, The steering seemed a little heavy, I've been through 2 PS pumps in as many months but I never got any audio with those failures. As I accelerated onto the highway, the new noise got much worse, OK...this is bad, time to pull over and have a look, pulling onto the shoulder there were several loud thumps.

I grabbed my little mag-light and had a peek under the front end. my power steering pump was hanging by the hoses, the "ting" was the pulley bouncing along the road and as it got lower they got worse until the pump swung up enough to thump under the car! I am so pissed off right now that I cant even think straight. The forward mounting ear broke off of whatever assembly it is part of, IIRC one of the ballance shaft housings? The tensioner also broke and the pulley is shot.

Anyone have these items on a parts car?

Think They'll let me autox with a coat hanger holding up the pump?

Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. There was a good thread on this problem a week or two ago.

Dave, let me know what exactly you need. I might have some parts lying around.

Thanks for the replies. I'm familiar with all the dismantlers (I've delt w/ 944ecology before, happily) from, but I'd prefer to go with a fellow lister.
My son is extreemly disappointed about daddy not being able to autox today so I told him I'd take him to the event for a little while (plus, I get to go hang out for a few and mommy gets some quiet), when I get back I'll be crawling under the car to get a better look at what I need.

Well I was just under there and it isn't pretty. The pump looks intact but the pulley is beat to hell,

There is more oil under there than there should be, I don't know if it's PS fluid that may have come from a damaged hose or if I have a leak somewhere. The hoses don't apear damaged, but....
The bracket is indeed broken, and as I thought, it does go back to behind the ballance shaft belt so the repair looks to be a PITA. (advice here would be helpful, if there's a shortcut)

The part of the story I didn't mention last night; as I was turning onto my street I heard another jingle that sounded like a small piece of metal sliding across the pavement. Even though it was about 4 miles after I discovered the problem and hung the pump from a coat hanger to get home, my curiosity got the better of me. After dinner I went out with a larger flashlight and found this:

It wasn't on the pump when I "installed" the coat hanger, it must have been caught somewhere and fell out later! Guess crazy glue won't do it, huh?
It looks like I'll need the ballance shaft housing cover, whatever hardware is need to mount the pump, the tensioner (yup, it snapped) and while I'm under there the A/C tensioner has been welded back together but should be replaced. I assume there's a gasket involved in the ballance shaft housing?

George, do you have all these parts and will you be around tomorrow?

Last picture won't show?
Second try...

...no luck, maybe a link?

Not that either? It won't let me re-upload it, "a file by that name already exists." Oh well, just picture it in your head, it was the piece that broke off.
