OT: yay ARNOLD - the Govinator
What a landslide victory. I am a registered Democrat but Davis and the other clowns made me vote Arnold (who is really a moderate Republican).
Finally this Golden State has hope to get back the jobs, and giant economy it once had. Go Arnold!!

He he... Good luck with ARNOLD.
And if he not's get elected next time he'd just say.
" I'll be BACK".
PS: I'm a big arnold fan, as a bodybuilder and action hero.

We got lucky that the rural counties, and Orange County and San Diego (green), were enough to override the costal counties, LA, and the Bay Area (red).
Same kind of thing happens in NY - the rest of the state counterbalances New York City.

He's getting to the age where it would be hard for him to continue to be successful in acting anyway. Think of when Clint Eastwood's career went downhill - wasn't he in his early 50's when he did "Magnum Force" (probably his last REALLY good movie)?
I think he made the right move - think about it, it is his chance at a place in history, without the "indignities" of a really long campaign.

This is why we are called the Left Coast! (see image)
The dumbo-craps control the legislatures. Don't think they will make it easy on the govonator.
Don't wory Eric when I get through talking with you there will be a change of heart. Not mine.

Something I'd like to know is if Arnold intended to pursue a political career had the 'recall' not taken place. In other words, was this a spontaneous decision for him and if so, what were his other plans for when he falls away from the blockbuster scene.

Newark NJ has a recall coming shortly. Maybe its time to tell these politicians to act in our interest instead of lining their own pockets with obsene pay checks and benefits. 6 % unimployment ? . What about the people who aren't counted in these polls. Vote NAFTA , send your job to China and your money to every country in the world and the hell with our own people.

Gov. Taft from Ohio has been in the scope for the last few years, and a pledge was attemped for a recall. Hopefully the action out in Cali will prompt the Buckeye State to make some changes.
Good luck Cali... anything is better than what you had. Arnold is a very good businessman, and that is what you need to get spending and unemployment back in control.

Its Mr. Ahnold to you I voted for him and will vote to recall him if nothing changes. Its about time someone is accountable. If a large corp CEO is losing money all the time, he is out the same way a politician is taken out now. Yay, its long over due.
