Did you ever run across any of those stainless fasteners which were used to hold on the rear diffuser I got from you ?
Just wondering...... Thanks !
( getting ready to strip, prime, and paint that beautiful piece and hang it on. )

If so, do not believe they will bolt up, directly, to the steel arms. Maybe someone else can confirm or deny. Suspect you would also need the aluminum trailing arms from an '87-'88 924 or an '85.5-'88 944 without ABS [same parts, 951.331.021/022.02 for both early/late offset 944s].
Do you already have a set of aluminum trailing arms?

The PS piece was already off the car when I acquired it...so, not sure about the availability/whereabouts of those nuts/bolts. If I didn't send the DS fasteners, should still have those. Can probably look at my car to refresh my memory and aid with fastener ID. Out of curiosity, have you checked with the dealer as to cost/availability of the set of fasteners?
Re: that rear wiper plug we discussed, the one on my car is not up to your discerning standard. If you had a choice, would you prefer a black or polished plug?

By the way, Brian, Jay, Joaquin, all parts shipped last Fri. If you have not received your package from me as of yet, please follow up with a text or email.
Blake, as mentioned in email, your parts have not gone out yet [ran out of time]. Can you wait another 6 weeks, or so, until I'm back with the car, or do you need me to coordinate shipping with a friend?
Jack, replied to your PM re: the short block.

Black OR polished it matters not ..... ( on rear hatch delete plug ) prefer the metal, as I have passed on the plastic ones already. They have stippled surfaces as well on the plastic or nylon plugs.
On the diffuser hdwe., have checked with the Porsche parts counter, and just one fastener ( has to come from Germany ) is over $40; the others not so high. Stainless must be higher than titanium these days.
! ! !
w0w. serious haircut ~
Don't sweat it on either piece, just curious if anything turned up. Need all fasteners, but if you cannot locate, no biggie. But funny that Porsche finds the fasteners more precious than what the whole assy., (used from you), cost !
Have great travels ....... Thanks for the reply, Allen.

Re: the wiper plug...okay Don, metal preferred, either black or polished.
Re: the diffuser...both pieces have two "studs" on their curved end that slip into holes on the quarter panels. Pretty sure those are snugged up with simple nuts/washers. The long piece has three other connection points that take simple screws/washers/nuts...two at the opposite end [of the curve] and one almost center/middle of the panel. That center mount isn't the special bolt, is it? The short piece also has two studs on the curved end, and I believe two more contact points that take simple screws/washers/nuts. Don't recall seeing a special, $40, fastener.
In any case, most of the fasteners from this car are nowhere near your discerning standard...being either heavily oxidized or rusted. Let me look at the fasteners attaching the diffuser on my car and see what I can source from my bucket of bolts. Would you happen to have a photo of that fastener Porsche wants all that coin for?

Re: the radiator...
Yes, I'm about 25 minutes out of Temecula up in Sage...between Temecula & Hemet, up in the mountains.
Do you travel to Temecula?
Cheers,
Ted

Ted, have not been there in decades.
Previous life...spent a lot of time in El Segundo/Redondo Beach. Over the years, have had friends throughout the area...Manhattan Beach, Long Beach, Laguna Beach, Oceanside, and Moreno Valley.
Re: the radiator...both inquiries came off of CL. As a RL enthusiast, will give you first right of refusal when I'm back with the car in 4-6 weeks. When you get the chance, PM me the best number to text for coordination.
