Could you snap a picture of the part where the rubber part hooks onto the car?

You can go to an Auto parts store and check for truck hood closing mechanisms. They sell these for holding down a variety of truck hoods on larger trucks...Kenworth etc..take a picture so the guy basically knows what you're looking for. A truck parts place for big rigs would have these too.

That's a good suggestion Tiger, however as I work at a Peterbilt dealership and have access to some of those hood latches, I found them too long.

Hello Noah and Happy New year.
Start training on a iced parking lot. Place some cones in a circle, and starts making donuts. Make the circle bigger and bigger, to bring up speed. then start doing figure eights.
You will need a LSD or welded dif. You will also love a faster steering rack. I find the non power steering rack to slow.

About the lack of safety equipment. The guys are from Norway. They don't give a F*** ;-)

Ps. Here are an example of teenage car training in Scandinavia

What, they have sweaters and nail polish on. And he's got a beard. They have more than enough to survive the harsh Swedish winter if something goes wrong.

Really makes me miss my Volvo 244Ti.
