Try it first, unless the wobble is REALLY bad on the machine you might be surprised. Most of the time I can balance out a wobble and you wont even know it is there.

I used a 1/8" spacer machined from sheet steel for this application (Boxster 16" rims on an 87 944S and an 88 951). No problems.

yep spacers will do the trick. are those fronts you got 6"?
i have this same problem with the c2-5spoke wheels i bought in 6", wont clear the dustcap/hub in the front so im gonna go with 7"s.

erau you ready to buy my c2s yet? i think i might have found a buyer...

So will 16x7/9 993C2 rims clear the caps? That's what I have. I haven't tried mounting them yet, because I wanted to clean them up first.

I have a question then.... even with an early 944, can I run 2 sets of rear boxter wheels (front and rear 16x7's) without running spacers?

It should fit. I think its the 6" wide rims that will hit the dust cap
