looking for a cheap 951
I'm looking for a cheaper 951 in red, silver, or black.
I need a straight body but the engine can have repairable damage.
Looking to spend $5k or less.

Everything is repairable if you think about it. If I were you I'd get one in good condition and spend a bit more $ on it rather than spending it on repairs. Unless you have something else planned...

of course I have things planned... I looked at a $6250 951 and it was so crapped out inside with a leaking trans, I'm not sure what I will get for the price I want to pay... but I do want to take it all apart anyway...

There's a red one (I think) for sale in Fresno. Haven't seen it myself. Aking $5,500. It's been in the paper for a while. Says mint with new A/C. If you are interested I could check it out for you.

They do exist. Mine was 3900 bucks and is one of the better ones I have seen for under 10K. I am in the process of taking it apart but only because I am **** about this kind of stuff. I could very easily have put tires on it and had it inspected and registered and driven it every day as it sat.
