Can someone explain why certain K27 compressors have a blue tag or a red tag? And this one on eBay has no tag. What's the difference??

Are you talking about Majestic? I dont know what the bidding is up to now, but the other day you would have been talking about a wallet full of a few bucks more! I think I am going to have my K26 modified when it is out of the car. Streckfu, I might be willing to do something like: have mine rebuilt, you pay me the rebuild cost and I send it to you, when you get yours out you send it to me. My car will be down a while and I am guess you dont want yours down.

I think there a few shops that will do it for about 550 when I called around and asked. Majestic wanted more than that IIRC. I have no time line either, except that the GD motor will be on my floor by wednesday next week if it kills me, otherwise, I might forget how to put it back together!

I ended up calling Majestic. They said the same you did. $650 with a 3 day turnaround.

If you want to find a shop near you and work the specifics, I may interested when you are ready. As covered in another post, I'm putting some $$ into other mods right now but definately want to upgrade to a K27/6 in the future.

I will let you know when I get the turbo out. I dont see why not, really nothing to lose as I know it isnt going anywhere real soon. Unless my bike and my vert go somewhere soon.
