Default checking knock sensor?

Guys is there a way to check the operation of the knock sensor? The reason I ask is because I am currently working on the top of the engine replacing a bunch of hoses, vacuum lines, installing venturi delete, and checking sensors for their operation as well as cleaning them up. I am also going directly to a manual boost controller setup avoiding the cycling valve so I assume that the knock sensor is very important to me at this point.

Look forward to hearing

Thanks
Paul

You can check the resistance across the leads with a multimeter. The original versions have about 300k ohms, but the later versions went up to a number I can't recall off hand.
