Default how long does it take for tires to dry rot?

I usually drive my car twice a week or more,things have come up and I've let it sit for the past month undriven, should I be concerned with dry rot?

No. Next time over inflate the tires to about 50-55 PSI to protect against flat spotting (reversible upon some heat cycles).

it takes a year or more of sitting to have any real concern.
there have been periods where my car sits undriven for 6 months at a time and no problems with tires afterwards.

Specifics of concern to this scenario of dry rot:

- How far from the equator do you live; in direct U/V exposure ?
- Is the car sitting in puddles of oil ?
- Is it parked next to an electric motor throwing off ozone each time it runs ?

How long do you think some cars sitting on dealership's lots sit there ? Or in manufacturer's holding lots before delivery to either port or transport carrier ? How long do cars sit in a garage when people go south for the winter ? Not a one of these scenarios offer a plausible reason to be concerned about somewhat 'fresh' tires, except the first 3 examples questioned. Air them up as suggested in the post above and worry about something else. Like replacing those rubber windshield wipers at about twice the rate of those tires (-;

This is where the manufacture date is located on your tire.
