oh, but be nice to these kids, they dont know better

may be he was in special ed?

I don't think that the guys who are shooting flames actually decided to try to shoot flames....sure it looks cool but I think the flames are just a result of agressive driving and the pursuit of speed ...not a goal.....

Hey, was just curious as to if anyone would have a figure of how much this guy spent on his Pcar. Looks pretty nice with the upgraded turbo, bored out and all that. Well here is the link.

Oh yea, i was also thinking regarding the whole 951 is slow because of low compression thing, couldn't you get yer head shaved or somethin to fix that?

Well, the way I see it, If I don't pop a few flames or do the rear foglight upgrade, you'll never see how far ahead of you I am, lol. I have performance in mind with almost all of my upgrades, but throwing a few flames out the tailpipe would be sweet too.

The compression is low when the turbo isn't spooled up so that there's room for the compression to grow with the turbo. If you increased the mechanical compression with a shaved head/thinner HG, etc - it'd give you similar results to running to much boost - a blown HG every few weeks.

The best way arround the whole issue is to run a 2.8l engine (stroked with a 968 crank) OR go with the 3.0l engine (S2/968) and supercharge it.
