Interior screws replacement project
Hello, I am needing to replace some missing interior screws, who isn't? I was looking around and definitely need to address this. Maybe this information can help others, too.
I for one need all the headliner screws (headliner is the panel above the rear seats) and also some console screws.
I read in this post https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...ml#post3372674 that screw 91775A650 on mcmaster.com is the right screw basically everywhere in the interior. Can someone confirm this?
Here is the link to the screws where you can find 91775A650:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/121/2978/=zst30i
Here is a generic picture of the screw:
And here is a picture of a kind grandma who cares about us and our interior screws:
If someone has another source for these screws, or otherwise some surefire information, please let me know! Thanks!

If you look in the PET for you car you will see the parts numbers, I've had good experiences just copy/pasting those numbers into google and usually you can find them for really cheap. I used Sunset Porsche most recently and ordered a bunch of interior screws for the dash area because I keep losing them. I think it was $0.60 per screw or something reasonable. Just make sure to get enough to make the $10 shipping worthwhile.

I didn't know you could do that... good to know you are the same person.
Wondering if there is more direct information re the screws? Such as link to PET? I was having trouble getting started.
Edit - found the PET

The trick is to search the part number using dashes.
So for example let's say PET tells you the part is 'N 013 962 3'
You then type N-013-962-3 into google. Or directly into a vender's search bar - Sunset had them every time I did that.

Bel-metric is a great source for proper European hardware. For the screws, look at https://www.belmetric.com/metric-scr...s-c-10_97.html However, I suspect that you're looking for small quantities, and in that case, you may find it better to simply order them from a dealer. As others have noted, they are inexpensive.
