Default Door handle broke what in the world.

So I go to open the passenger side door on my 951 this morning and when I squeezed to trigger the sucker snapped in half.
Now are these hard to replace? I see triggers for sale for around $30 dollars or so. My understanding is that you have to remove the door handle then you can easily replace the trigger. I was just wondering if any of you 944 owners have done this job before and how long it took you.
