Default muffler replacement with straight pipe

Does anyone know where I can get one? I just want a cat back straight pipe that will bolt up to a stock setup or a bursch test pipe. I called SFR about the one they have that looks nice and is about $150, but they said it wouldn't fit on a stock car or the bursch pipe, they said it would only bolt to one of their cat pipes. Huntley has said that they can make me one but it would be at least $475. That's a big difference in price. Does anyone make just a pipe to replace the stock muffler?

Go to a local muffler shop and get one made. Should be pretty simple. Won't be anything fancy, but I assume this is for a track car. All you need is some std muffler tubing bent & welded. It is not rocket science.

Dude, Kevin can make one for YOU!! Ask any of the Texas contingency on this board and they will all vouch for his FINE craftsmenship with a welder and some pipe. Verily, the man has missed his calling in life.

Thanks Taylor, I've sent him a PM. As for a local muffler guy, I stopped by a place that looks like he does a whole lot of low riders there, and he just sort of looked at me like I was crazy.

Actually I said it would only work as a replacement for the muffler on our cat-back.You need to buy one of our cat-backs first and then you can buy this to replace the muffler. We also have a cat-back set-up with no muffler and just this straight pipe. This set-up is $399.

My mistake. In any case I'm looking to be able to swap between the stock muffler and the straight pipe, and at minimal cost also.

Well go to another shop.

I have straight pipe set-up for my spec car I had done at a local shop. Cheap and effective albeit not pretty. I don't run it because it makes more noise than I care for on my na and no extra hp. Just keep looking!
