Prancer was filmed in New Carlisle and Laporte. I'm originally from Fish Lake which is 5-10 mins from New Carlisle. I didn't know they did filming on A Christmas Story in Hammond? Learning something new everyday!

Wes, give me a call when you come through this weekend. I don't have to go back to work till Sat. night. Like I told you before, when going up I-65 about 15 miles north of Nashville, you will be passing about 3 minutes from my house. Give you a chance to rest a bit before you head on up.

First leg of the trim is done... I am in Tenn, not that far from FL, but its a start... finish the trim tomorrow, unload rest and fly back Monday.

So when is the next Florida Get together... I want to catch one before I go north...

Couple of weeks I will be doing this permanent... am looking forward to meeting the Rennlisters in the area... Might need some recommendations for a storage lot, comerical property, etc... got to store all the cars someplace once I get them moved up.

Oh yea... Indiana has Emissions Testing... THAT SUCKS... I am all for clean air... but the whole passing inspection hassle will suck... and if I want to run all the cars... errr......

 

Savage, we don't have emissions testing here in Indiana. If so we probably wouldn't have all these redneck trucks on the road.

 

I live in Hammond. We do have emission testing in this part of the state.

I spent 9 years in Terre Haute, and there was no emissions there. (at least they didn't TEST them) I have a lot of friends there but it wasn't home. I enjoyed the cheap cost of living, relative lack of deep snow, and proximity to many racing events..(IRP and Putnam Park drivers schools, INDY cars, F1, Nascar , NHRA, circle tracks all over the place) If it wasn't for family pulling us back, we may still be there. It's nice of you to make the sacrifice to help out Sis.

I echo Michelle and Andy's comment- Hammond isnt that far from me, I do get up that-a ways every now and then. I'm usually on I70, but have been know to do a susbtantial number of miles off of I-80 as well...

Keep us up to date on the move- If you need- I could help drive a car from Fla up for ya.. a mini caravan! I have time right now.

Finish the unloade tomorrow then catch a flight, cant wait to dealwith traffic to Midway... errrrrrrrrr

Cold up here. Not that I miss florida, but sure was a lot warmer.... but wait... emm colder... means denser air fule mix... emmmm more power>?!!! hehehe
