Good Morning from over the Baltic sea! Any progress last night?

Olli, I'll get hold of you later on the splitter thing (run off my feet at the moment!)

I posted a long-ish explanation of the situation on the turbo board. If you're interested, here's a direct link:

I suppose this is more or less what have happend during the last 3 1/2 months. I just wonder why Danno let things go that far.... He had have enough time to give us a tracking number if our goods really are shipped ! Also it is not hard for us to make a apology if we are wrong. It's all up to Danno now !

My dentist has a sign on the wall that says:

"If you don't take care of your teeth, they will just go away"

Just replace "teeth" with "Guru Customers" and the saying fits.

This sucks that these guys who have contributed a lot to this community have to sit and wait for so long ans endure an endless string of broken promises. I don't care what excuses people have for Danno. The fact of the matter is he used this board and this community to promote and sell his products and quite a few people are now getting screwed. Customer service is in the toilet these days in all industries.

The sad part is that it really would only take one post from Danno to reassure everyone. That post could be made in less than 2 minutes. No matter how busy someone is, if they can't take 2 minutes out of their time to support their customers, then they don't deserve to have any.

Olli,

I hope all is soon resolved for you and the other Finns. I know how it sucks to be waiting on parts, and your patience has been incredible. The bottom line is, nice guy or not, if someone has your $$$ and has not delivered what was promised, that is a total crock. Heck, I would be pissed at Abe Lincoln if I gave him 10 bucks for a split rail and he didn't deliver. Good luck on getting a positive resolution.

Hi guys,

I hope to be in a position to post the shipping company and tracking number for you in just a little while. When that happens, I'll close this thread - BUT feel free to e-mail me, OK? Also - when you get your stuff, also let me know..!!!

Best to all..!

John D., why would you close the thread? Let things settle out and the Finns can respond when they get their stuff installed. The Finns have done me a favor and I sell product to Danno and he was kind enough to put up some of my lighting upgrades on his site. So, I'm connected to both sides.

While I may not have a dog in this fight, it concers me and I would like to see a resolution in public.

Guru is going to be dead meat if this doesn't resolve in a proper way. That is a hint Danno to get your butt in gear.

Honestly - if I know the stuff is on the way, I'd like to give it a chance to get there (yes, I spoke to Dan earlier today)... As well - since some don't read all the posts (especially my posts!! ), it closes down those who want to simply "hop on the bandwagon". However - when the stuff arrives, absolutely - sybelix, Olli, and all - can open a new thread (good, bad or indifferent), or ask me to re-open this one, which I'd certainly do...!!

I see your point, though...??!
