I don't know which Ranger that would be. AFAIK, I don't know of any diesel Rangers..only Gas ...the 4 cyl..2.5 the 3.0 Liter 6 and the 4.0 liter 6. I think that there was another 4..back in the day with the 2.3 Pinto motor..though. But that Ranger was a much smaller version than the ones we have today. .02 cents.

My clutch guy I deal with, who is a pretty good friend, can make just about any clutch- 3/4/6 puck, sprung/solid, ceramic/organic/iorn buttons, etc... but he can't make custom the offset needed for the NA...
I just had him make me a flat face sprung bronze stintered ceramic 6 puck, but I had to change the bolts to a hex head and take 0.080" off the bolt head and spot relief the flywheel 0.050" so the bolts sat at the clutch surface height.
The disk will handle 325+ hp or so with the stock NA cover plate and it was 1/3 the cost...
I am very familiar with the 2.3 ford stuff- turbo and NA, if there is a part or some setup that people are wondering about I can go see him and piece together what we think is a good combination.

It was a 2000 Ford Focus 2.0 (Autozone part# D80238). I'm sure the springs could be changed out for beefier ones, but at that point, I could just pay to have my Sachs 951 clutch rebuilt.
I was thinking it might be an option for NA guys to put in the 951 flywheel, bellhousing, etc, which is a 1-time cost, then they can use the Focus disc in the future, which is like $40. Not really worth it unless you're keeping the car for a long time. The Focus probably has a similar weight
ower as the 944 NA.
