Default Value of complete short block?

I'm thinking of making some big changes in my 951's future, but before I move forward I was wondering what a complete short block is worth, one with 2 years (and low milage on rod bearing) smooth bores, but and unknown number of miles.

Thanks in advance.....

I picked up an 87S shortblock for $900. It looked new on the inside.

900 seems really low, wouldn't it be higher for a 951 block (86) with the forged internals?
