Default vacuum hose sets

Hello everyone,
This is my first post on this site, it's unbelievable how much info is here!
I was wondering if someone knew anybody that sells a complete set of vacuum hoses for an 83' 944. Or, if anybody has replaced all of theirs, maybe a list of lengths and sizes I would need to do the job. I do appreciate it.

Welcome.

You wanna trade places, I live down there and you can move up here to NE Ohio?

While it isn't factory by any means, you could just go out and buy one of those silcone hose kits and just match lengths and cut to fit. That's what I did and it works great. If that Pep Boys is still over by Oglethorpe Mall I am sure you can find the hose kits there.

Isn't it possible to buy vacuum hoses from local places?

The hard plastic stuff that came on the cars? Yeah, but why bother? It kinks and cracks and splits and leaks.

How about aftermarket types? Like the ones found on Lindsey Racing?

Same idea. Granted its Purosil, but why not just run over to Pep Boys or AutoZone and pick up a silcone hose kit and some plastic or brass T fitting and save time and money doing it yourself?

Yep local autoparts store. I replaced all of mine when I had the intake manifold off. IIRC I used 1/8" ID. vacuum hose and tee's. Worked fine, and will probably outlast the car. Total cost, $3

If you are going silicone you need to be a bit careful about quality, so I don't know about PepBoys. First is wall thickness and how much vacuum it will take without collapsing. Second is, is it really 100% silicone or was it made in a cheap plant that is using filler? You can tell if you burn up a chunk of the hose. Pure silicone will ash more or less pure white.
