Yesterday, Sydney Motorsport Park ( Eastern Creek , NSW Australia) , last competition event for the year , Motorkhana round 4 ( Autocross) , this event would decide the winner for 2015 of two of the three Championships

A) Motorkhana Championship ( Autocross)

B) Drivers Championship = cumulative points earned by those who compete in both disciplines ( Motorkhana & Supersprint )

The Supersprint Championship was decided two weeks ago at the SMP South circuit where Harry Polis ( friend & customer of ours) won the Supersprint championship in his 1983 944 NA

The Motorkhana event yesterday could of gone either way , but by the end of the days competition Sean Buchanan in his 1986 951 3.0L 16V took the win for the day which gave Sean enough points to win the Drivers Championship ( 2nd year in a row )

Fred D'Cruz in his 1983 944 NA ( friend & customer of ours ) came 2nd outright & won the Motorkhana Championship for 2015

These Guys were up against just about every known Porsche that you would expect to be competing in a Porsche Club , be it many varieties of last century 911's , Boxters / S , Cayman / S , 996 , 997 , 991 , GT3 ( all types ) & yet the water cooled front engine'd last century Porsche's took out all three Championships

But its not really just the cars , its the combination of experience learnt( drivers skill) over the years & preparation of the cars & reliability , because without all those factors the cars would be just sitting in the car park doing nothing
