Default Turbo Hood And Vented Nose Price?

FOR/FROM 924 Turbo/931

What is the relative value/a good price of the TURBO HOOD?
The Vented nose?

In the same good, near perfect condition--paded paint aside.

If I sell these off of mine, what is fair market values, so I can be fair to all you who might be interested... thats a loaded question.... cant wait to see who posts what...

Also Fenders... though I suspect, fenders and bumpers, etc... have a much lower value.

Thanks for the help everyone.

BTW--I am always open to trades. Picture two of the cars before bringing them home.

Yea I would agree 225 seems Cheap, but then I would never think of selling one for 400 either.

Also a matter of who wants one, cant sell it if no one is buying.

Hood should be around $300 if it is decent.

Nose panel prices vary. Shoot for somewhere around $150-$200 if it has all of the vents and is straight. Maybe add $20 if it has the cool old-style hood badge (non-pimpygold color)

Although I am trying to buy one of the hoods from him I have to wonder where you guys get these prices. A whole, entire 924 Turbo can be had for 500 bucks if it doesnt run or has an ugly body. I turned down 2 in the last 3 weeks (trying to buy the hood and they wanted me to take the car) both were under 500 bucks. Savage, let me know if you want to still sell, I would understand if you didnt considering the price we were talking and the PITA of shipment.

shortyboy,
Aloha, you a local boy?> Kaminea? I graduated Pearl City HS and went UH one year. Long time ago. Thats Home sweet home, but long time since I was back.

Ok enough going down memory lane...I am open haven't set a price, thats the purpose of the posts/questions....

Email or PM me with your best offer and we can discuss it there.

Matt H you must be in the right spot, I would have bought all three... but man you just dont find those around here or many places else. Drop me a line anytime you come across that. I think we can still deal... We can talk. Still If you have one local for 225 and no shipping charges... might be the way to go. I would understand of course, local is local.

Hey shortboy, you know better than that.. you live in the states, you just not on the mainland

Address Zip is 33150.

No DENTS, NO RUST, Just faded Paint. I can send anyone who wants pics some pics of what ever they want to see, just need an email to send them to.

Of course Might be monday before I could send pics to you, as I would need to take some good ones.

TRUST ME ON ONE THING IF NOTHING ELSE THESE HOODS ARE NEAR PERFECT--- THE ONLY FLAWS I HAVE FOUND ARE IN THE PAINT.

I bought a 924 Turbo hood in San Jose for $75. But, I had to drive up there to pick it up. I guess I stole it. I also bought the nose panel for $125 shipped off the 924 board, but it was bondoed and bent a little. I've just joined an ROP Welding class through the local high school to graft the vented section into a 951 nose panel for my '87.

BOB, love your website and the conversion on your car.

Now BACK to the topic....

SO here is the scoop, I have 3 HOODS to Spare, one may go to Matt H, that leaves 2.

I have 4 VENTED Noses, no damage, most are missing porsche crest, but one still has crest, not sure if would include those, but... its a consideration.

I pulled one to have a fiberglass mold done from so I can sell some nice affordable copies.

So I see some deals can be found on the parts if they are a little damaged or you get lucky.

For me, I am using one hood and will use one vented nose, when I get the Fiberglass done.

I appreciate the responses I have gotten. So guess its time to open the parts up for sale.
