That is yet another reason I have small boxes and subs. The two that I have now are Infinity Beta subs, an 8" and a 10". The eight is in my Jeep currently and uses a .33 ft^3 box. That and my Soundstream Lil' Wonder don't weigh quite that much. Sure, I will not win any dB comps, but those days are over. BTW, I used to have a system that would hit ~140 dB with 2 tens and a 50W amp. Orion XTR DVCs and an Orion 225 HCCA amp. I was bridged on 1 ohm and getting 600-800 watts from the amp. Now I am just looking for some quality sound with a decent low end. Even in my Jeep, the Beta 8, Infinity Kappa 4" components and JBL Power 5.25"s sound pretty darn good.
