Wont notice much. just a little stiffer rubber/ polyurethane in this case. might get more wear out of them.

If you have the coin. i advise to change all suspension rubbers. (4 sway bar bushings, 4 control arm bushings)

You have the early 944 so therefore the steel control arms. Lucky for you the parts are really cheap. Replace the ball joints, and front and rear control arm bushings. Do all three unless the other two are like new.

BTW I feel your pain for VA inspection. I hate it with a passion.

Maybe a good option if you like the idea of more performance bushings (no affiliation):
send Rennlist member "jshep" a private message if you are interested...

I used the ones from Ricochet engineering on my early car. They fit fine and were not too expensive. I found them on E-Bay..they are all polyurethane. Ball joints are not to expensive either..save the nuts and bolts when you go to change them..I think that they have 7mm heads..kinda strange..might be hard to come by...esp in DIN 10.9.

Personally I prefer stock rubber bushings. I tried poly bushings in the rear suspension of a 80 vette. Noisey and harsh. I switched it back to rubber a month later. With that said, I do use poly bushing on the front sway bar on my Daytona Turbo Z. The rest are good ol' rubber.
