Get the clutch in, get everthing bolted back up, clean out the entire car, and garage, wash and wax (car not garage). Go down to take a motorcycle tire to get repaired and while I'm waiting I go to get gas. Waiting for the person in front of me to finish, they get into their car put in reverse and back straight back into me!
WTF?? She didn't even look, just went. Of course they didn't have insurance.
Fortunatly it just collapsed the bumper shock, but still. I just don't get it.
I'm just SLIGHTLY pissed right now.

It really is dangerous out there. I once saw a driver leave a gas station right in the middle of filling up. The hose was still going. The attendant said it happens all the time. But all the same its really bad when its your stuff that gets messed up. I'm feelin bad for you.

Yea man I feel for it I'm still going to court about my damage to my front end. You know the funny thing is this week I looked over there cause they live on the other side of the street from my girlfriend's house and they pulled out of the driveway with the Ford F150 (the one that backed into me) and then rolled down the window and the guy said "Did you eat or something what you looking over here for you little a$$hole *****." All I said then was for him to talk to my lawyer. No reason at all to say that crap it's funny I'm 20 he is in his late 40's if not 50's and still acting like a 16 year old (maybe the drop out part helped him on this) :P

Gas stations are my worst nightmare... when I'm fortunate enough to drive my car and I go to the gas station I don't even pull up to a pump if it's in a congested area. I'm such a psycho at a gas station as my wife has said many a times!

Thanks guys. I'm better now.
It's hell out there!
I don't think this women could pronounce Porsche. She had a hard time with I'm sorry. Her spanish was vey good though
It was a family, husband wife, driving and grandma who just smiled every time I looked at her.
I called the cops because he said that they didn't have insurance. But then I thought about what a cop told me once after a similar accident. He said that yep it's a $700 dollar fine, but then where are they going to get the money to pay me? So I told them to leave and I'll talk to the cop when he comes. I don't want to hose them but they need to learn that in order to function in our society they need to be responsible, and having insurance part of that.
I figure that I can get an estimate and get the money from them, and then just fix it myself. If not I'll fix it and deal with them later. Life's to short to get all bent over this. Don't sweat the petty things, but pet the sweaty things.... or something like that.

What A lovely attitude you have to life.
I wish I could be like that. That sort of incident would keep me awake at night. (Even more than this forum does)

In Oklahoma it is now a Felony to not have auto insurance when you drive. Thats right, a go to Jail Felony. Don't know if it has detered anybodys since most people do not know of the law change.

Too bad you'll never see the money from that women that hit you. Trust me, never let anyone off the hook. Let them pay the fine, take them to small claims court, and put a lien on their car for payment of yours if they can't pay.
