Hi,
I have just bought my first 944 turbo (previously had a 924 and a 924S) with a whole host of electrical anomalies! Most of which I 'think' I have now resolved:
DME relay badly replaced with generic relay by a previous owner - possibly done due to lack of ignition live to original relay (maybe alarm related). New ignition live supplied and fresh DME relay now running things
Cooling fan ran continually - stuck fan relay, nice easy one!
intermittent blower, windows and various relays buzzing! Found a burnt earth wire to the relay board - replaced this and everything came alive!
So 2 outstanding electrical issues that I can see....
1) the central locking tries to operate when I depress the clutch!!? Very odd, I immediately thought perhaps a clutch switch issue and/or more bad earthing - but I cannot see a clutch switch under the dash?! looks like there might be a bracket for one?
2) The turbo pump relay is missing. Guess I will just need to bite the bullet and buy a new one!
Anyone got any ideas on the central locking issue?

I would recommend going through your ground attachment point under the dash and the hood to ensure they are solid. Clarks garage has a diagram of their location.
