Default 1987 944S block, pistons, rods - $200

Have an engine block, pistons, and rods from a 1987 Porsche 944S.
Engine spun rod bearing and the crank needs work so I am not including it with this package.

Pistons and rods are still installed in the block, but could stand to have rings replaced (about 200k miles). Bores have some scoring but doesn't appear too bad/worth worrying about.

Just taking up space in my storage unit.

Located in Los Angeles, CA or could bring with me to San Diego.
Looking for $200 for everything picked up from LA/SD, or $250+shipping.

Spencer,

with California emissions regulations being what they are, is there a bug in your future?

can you advise: should I get a Cayman S or 997 for my next P-car?

I do like the legroom of the bigger car.

i dont fit very well in the 911s and i dont fit at all in the 986/987 cars.
i could squeeze into a 997 or 991 if i really wanted to but those are way out of my price range.

i dont see smog being any reason i need to get out of the 944 though.
