Lookin good! Remember to add space for spark plugs and possibly head bolts, ours is a bit difficult in that sense.
Cool to see itbs getting interest in 944 community!

Using single itbs and making them bolt directly to head with hump in the hood would be interesting too, though it might be difficult to get ports aligned properly.

Will you keep brake booster?

Vids from Alastaro. Although had somewhat decent quali even though stuck in traffic, race pace wasnt there. It was hot day so started sliding quite much. Enjoy!

Hello Matti

I have ordered the short (80 mm.) version of the Itb's. To get more space between engine and brake booster.
I will make a plenum chamber with longer, conical shaped runners. And bend them more forwards.

I have to keep the brake booster, to keep the car street legal.

Just watched the movies from the first race.... just awesome! I love the sound and the battle with the black wing turbo(?). You really use the advantage of the light car, and its so great to see how you catch up on the turns and breaking into them - great driving.
Really funny to hear you've got rivets or bits moving around inside the cage as well. That used to drive me nuts .

Thanks! Lacked both pace and grip this time, not the optimum track for this car, traffic is a problem..
Black car is modified boxster s with tweaked aero and suspension, blue one is normal 996 carrera.
Know the direction where to develop car, just need more time and financing.

Sounds like a good plan. All extra space is good, ours are 118mm long and would love to have that extra 3cm.
We have used these in the built.

What all do you have done to this 8valver. Makes me proud to own one..mine is getting set up for DE and as close to 2,000lb as I can get. I'm interested in what you have done to this thing(engine wise)? Made my night. Nice driving by the way!

Some updates - have had too much work to prep the car but slowly its coming... yes?
- LSD tranny is in the garage. have to figure out how to get it installed
- Ordered 16'' inch wheels, setting up with 245/45/16 for some extra grip. Good set of 15/7J ET23 Fuchs is for sale.
- Got good deal for Centrifugal SC so one is now in the garage, waiting the intake plenum. if there's time, maybe we fiddle with this one. 950kg Car could be quite cool to drive with 300hp, could tease some Cup cars...
- Plans to update front brakes from 282x21 to 298x28. current brakes have been ok powervise but have twisted front discs twice so thought bigger might be better.

Maybe some motivational posters could help to get the car ready?

Looks good and clean-ish fun! What mods have you done to the motor for the oiling? What oil do you run?
Was hard to hear of your engine rev matching on some downchanges and this seemed to have led to a bit of rear lockup in a couple of corners. Sometimes hard to pickup on video with racecars without any sound deadening though. Congrats.

rear slipping is not that serious...
we have been using valvoline 10w60 usually, haven't noticed big difference in oil temps between oils.
