Default Vibration at 1200 to 1300 rev's

Hi

engine vibration comes in at 1200 rev's and stays to 1300 rev's, also vibrates under heavy acceleration. I thought it might be in the drive line. But it doesn't seem to be, as it does it in park. it is very noticeable when De accelerating between 1300 to 1200, and does vibrate the whole car. I have checked the engine mounts, they are clean with no signs of bad wear.

85.5 944 auto 93,000 kms

Any input would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like you balance shaft belt could be off a notch or 2. When mine was off it would give me some pretty bad vibrations at aroun 3500 - 4000 RPMS
