Sorry, I've been busy working on back-orders and getting back to people on emails.

Also nine days ago, I met a worthy adversary in the uber-chic! Yes, she kicked my butt in drinking, staying out late, clubbing, dancing and of all things, chess! She's incredibly smart and we can talk endlessly on politics, fashion, ontology, the philosophies of religions, the evolution of civilizations, cars, banking, etc. Yet she's more sensual and sexy than most playmates! She knows how to hang off a guy's arm just right for maximum effect when we enter a room and she'll even match her steps to mine when we walk down the street. As a bonus, she's almost as fast as me on the bike and rollerblades, knows how to sail, surf, shoot guns and can even work on cars! I saw her take her Volvo to Swedemasters (local shop) and talk with a mechanic about how her car's been having lazy starting and how she suspects it's a bad VRM in the alternator...ok... To top it off, her favorite adrenaline-inducing highs comes from heights and speed! She wants to go skydiving and car racing with me! wow...

She helped me out on a job-site last week. I couldn't believe it when she single-handedly optimized an INGRES/RTI SQL database with proper ISAM and B-tree indexes. Then last weekend, we went up to Santa Cruz to meet her parents and this weekend we're going to one of my best friends' wedding... I think I need to turn down the boost on this runaway freight-train before I get into trouble... heh, heh...

No way dude, the monkey has thumbs. Plus, the monkey has a basic ability to rationalize and much more advanced thought than any cat. Besided, the sniper is only a kitten. Have you ever seen how spastic kittens are? There's no way that kitten would have the patience and self control to be able to pull off a long range shot. And cats are very near sighted, so it would need that scope just to pull off any long shot.

Danno, Danno, Danno - I can't believe "The Match" may have been found!!! What does this mean? What about all the Danno-isms? Will you still be able to practice the skills you have mastered? Will the skills now have to evolve due to perhaps a change in your lifestyle?

Great stuff! You always talked about balance. I think the focus on that particular part of a relationship for you stems from the inate desire to achieve it at it's paramount level - and it sounds like you may have reached that Golden Plateau.

But I warn you.......this girl is so "you", right? Have you ever been scared to come face to face with this situation? Meaning.......does the fact that she is SO great make you wonder what could be wrong? Think about it...if she is so much like you, doesn't that worry you - based on what you know about yourself? Just some observations.

....and Manning, - what about that story?

No, not from Smokey and the Bandit or BJ and the Bear, they didn't have Glocks when those two were made.

Heh, heh ... I'll always have a set of bags packed in the closet... Something about not getting involved in something you're aren't willing to walk away from in 10 minutes?

"No way dude, the monkey has thumbs. Plus, the monkey has a basic ability to rationalize and much more advanced thought than any cat. Besided, the sniper is only a kitten."

Notice how the kitty's not very well hidden in the window? It'll be spotted and attacked by the monkey and its clan immediately. So what if the kitty has a gun? As some of you primates well know after a visit to the restroom, primate feces is beyond deadly! That kitty is toast!

I believe the quote was from Robert DeNiro in "Heat":

Neil: "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in thirty seconds flat, if you feel the heat around the corner."
