Its not that much of a task (time consuming but not hard) to roll the lip on the thing, and any competent body shop *should* be able to do it. It looks a heck of a lot better, in my opinion, if you roll it.

I really want two cut outs though. The single looks good and is probably more functional.

Be sure to make sure that you get the internal ducting in there, or else you will reduce the cooling ability of the intercooler. It makes abig difference.

Here's mine for an idea...
I cut it with a Dremel and used a plastic case as a templae, meaured them, traced the box and cut them.

nine-44 just want to say again that front end looks great. Not too fond of the paint choice, but the bodywork is amazing.

If it were my nosepanel (and if I had a turbo) I would learn how to do it in fiberglass. I think even with the cutouts and rolled edges it just seems too "thin" around the edges. I would pretty much simulate the performace products one, but with what I've heard of that items quality I'm pretty sure I could do better work.

But as you said, you don't want fiberglass and you really don't want to do it yourself. Have you thought of getting a 924 Turbo nose panel? It has 4 vents kinda like nine-44's, but with little louvers in them (kinda like dash vents).

I agree it's not the color to please everyone. I love it tho. Actally, alot more people liked it than I ever thought would. I had to push my intercooler back a light bit to get it behind the opening I made. It's a NA car tho. If I would have rolled the edge, they would have hit the IC.

You mean like mine? It doesn't fit a 951 without some bodywork. It needs to be made more "curvy" to fit the car.

I am going to tackle it this weekend. I am just going to draw the template on it and cut. No offense to anyone but I think the 931 nose panel is butt *** ugly. I think I will sheet aluminum to make the ducting behind it. Not sure how to roll the edges yet.
