Here are my thoughts or suggestions.
The pictures below show my modifed cylinderhead, valve seats and valves. Simple hotrodders old school workmanship, proven and effective.
It doesn't cost much, it's just a fine tuning of the existing material.
1.) Valve seats with multi radius cut, blended with the rest of the port (+ top cut),
2.) Valves with radiused back cut (helps low lift flow)
3.) Widened valve seat ring
4.) Port matching
5.) MLS HEAD GASKET, C4272-030 (0.3 inch)

Additionally my car got a camshaft with more lift, NA-Tune, a extruded honed intake and a 4-1 header.

In 5th gear the car is running easily into the rev limiter (Euro Spec gearbox). So it seems, it was worth the effort.

DAAAAMMMMNNN Brother. You just made one of the most inspiring contributions to the "lowly" 8 valve NA world. Huge thanks... what a feast for the eyes.

There's a lot of worked 944 heads around. Just no one wants to spend the money on an N/A

I have a pretty heavily worked head on my block.

With the right cam for an N/A you should see a decent gain.

Don't worry about my valves, They're custom manly valves, and smaller valve stem.

Check this out. There's a thread on it on the turbo section. But this is better on the info all in 1 spot.

Good head work is never to waste, if you just dyno / adjust engine to get all out of it.
