install the bell housing with the fork loosly in place, but pulled as far away from the bearing as possible, once the bell housing is bolted in place, position the fork where it belongs, hook it behind the throwout bearing and then slide the pivot shaft up into the bell housing. It will probably be necessary to wiggle the fork in order to get the shaft through the bearings, position the shaft so the flat faces the 6mm bolt and tighten the bolt and locknut.
