i got a chip, but its for an 88 944, so it wont work with my 84 944 with 86 dme and afm. anyone have a weltmeister chip for an 85.5, 86, or 87 944 to sell me? or trade for an 88 944 chip.

i'm looking to get the $100 back for the chip that i spent for it, and hopefully pick up another for $100 or so.

What are you trying to do? I have a stock '86 NA chip available

I think he's taking the DME and AFM off an 86 NA so that he can use an aftermarket chip that plugs in as opposed to the kind you can have solder in ont he early cars.
