Now I know some of you guys from the Ohio area are bummed that the fest has been moved. After the surprise fiasco last year which led to a canceled event I had to explore other options, at least for 2015. The good news is that our backup option is on just about everyone's track bucket list! For the 944Fest VIR presents a once in a lifetime opportunity. Make the drive and I promise, you will not be disappointed.

For anyone who has not been to VIR it is amazing to say the least. The track is smooth and the area is maintained like a golf course.
A few points of interest are:

• Great camping area & RV hookups
• Non-Scary showers / bathrooms
• Rooms and Garages onsite
• Restaraunt & Bar on site
• Go Kart track
• Golf Cart Rentals
• One of the best road courses in the US

2006 944Fest Photo Dump ~ good times!

 

Back in 08' we decided to climb the tower @ Mid-Ohio at like 11:00pm - that was crazy fun times too. If you are able to make even ONE Fest in your lifetime, do it. Such a great group of people and so much fun!! As always Travis and Dan P put forth some real effort making these things happen and deserve a lot of kudos!

Not yet, but I'm sure he and Perlugi will come up.

 

We'd love to come and join you knuckleheads. Unfortunately I don't get any personal vacation time in my current position. If that changes, we'll do the best we can to make it.

 

Huh. Been to VIR and I agree, it's a great track. It's also close enough for me to consider this trip.

I shall consult the events coordinator!
