Window Motors - Positive or Negative switched?
Just wondering, do the wires that lead to window motors of 85.5+ cars have:
a) constant 12v at rest
or
b) constant ground at rest
Thanks

Simpson, what are you trying to do or repair? I'll give you a guess, but it is only a guess. There is likely a constant ground. The 12 v positive cuts out after you get past the delay courtesy power to roll your window up once you have ignition key off and open the door.

Also the connections for the motors in post 85's are in a block -- keyed. You can not put them back on wrong.
But! If you do check the direction of the switch and reconnect to the window motor as necessary.
I had slow a slow window a few years back and found the connections at the motor to have corroded. A quick pass with some emmery cloth fixed it.
