oh yeah, I was gonna ask if you think an RX7 is a 951 wannabe, the overall body kinda of struck me as "Im trying to be a 951, but never will be"

not to be an *** buy WHO told you to put the RX logos on the side? For that matter they are from a first gen.

Not too many of those here in Finland. Looks like copied some lines from 928 and some from 951. Nice paint though!

I think those logos are pretty cool.

Also, about the RX-7/951 similarities, Mazda DID use 944 lines and ideas, and probably many components, to design the late 80's RX-7.

A buddy of mine has a nice RX-7 turbo and we're always tearin out of the parking lot after class trying to out-corner each other.

They are nice cars...but no Porsche!

To each his own on styling cues like badges from a early first gen on the side of a second. You wanna buy a CS single exhaust and RP downpipe for the NA??

MattH, what all do you have done to your RX7? I hate the port situation crap, I want to put free flow mufflers on, but am scared because I only have one resinator and am not sure if its enough backpressure to activate the ports.

Which one? I wouldnt worry about the ports, they will open just fine. Right now, mine are not connected at all (the downpipe has no way to connect the air pump). Free flow mufflers wont hurt anything. I will tell you this much, most mufflers wont last long on the RX. The EGTs are much higher than a piston engine. I have two exhausts for sale, one is a CS single and one is an older HKS 50MM system that is no longer produced. The HKS is dual and would be harder to ship. The CS can be had for 125+ shipping the HKS goes for about 350+ shipping.
