That thing is too big for standard 2.5 imo.

This turbocharger in well suited for large 6 cylinder and most 8 cylinder applications

You should get a feel on turbo sizing on this page. Turbonetic turbos you are looking at are not direct bolt-on. Turbonetics made some exhaust housings compatible with 951, but those are scarce and hard to get by.

Dont know if BF is still in business, but I think he did a good explanation on turbos best suited to 951.

I went with the Garret GT35R, ceramic ball bearing, oil and water cooled. Had to just save some extra money first.

Gt35 will have a good amount of lag on a stock 2.5l engine so as long as your driving is mainly highway it should still be enjoyable. Usually a Gt3076 is good for street/highway, has some lag but very manageable. What are your power goals?

Supporting mods?
Not going to be able to just throw a bigger turbo on and have great results.
At a MINIMUM you'll need a chip to match it.

Likely you'll want
3 bar Fuel regulator
maf setup (m-tune is working awesome for me)
3" exhaust
Injectors.
Wastegate.

I called Dave Lindsey at Lindsey Racing and told him my mods, and what I wanted to do. He sold me a bolt on hybrid turbo that works friggin awesome for what I want. Yes the LR turbos are a bit old school, but I'm absolutely floored by how well mine boosts compared to my expectations.

Broadfoot is still in business, but I find him overly arrogant, and I'm not going to use my dollars to support someone who behaves that way.

Oh yeah I will be modded. Just had my block bored out to 101mm, all new bottom end with knife edged crank, carrillo rods, wossner pistons, glyco bearings. Already had a autothority stage 2 chip, but now I have the DBX maf kit to tune. Got those 52lb injectors, Tomei FPR, Bosch 044 fuel pump, new lines from LR. Got new valves , guides and springs for the head, and just got that back from the shop, its cleaned and polished. All new gaskets, belts, bearings, seals and silicone hoses. Exhaust will have a turbonetics deltagate, and 3" with borla "racing cat" and borla muffler (large style). Rewelded my exhaust manifold, and wrapped in heatsink. All new misc clutch cylinders/brake cyl/ alternator/AC/ steering pump/ starter. Also got one of those Fidenza flywheels (7lb). Just upgraded the brake rotors to zinc, and rebuilt the calipers. Someone suggested i need an LSD, so I have a Quaiffe helical LsD for the tranny rebuild soon. I think I covered most of what I will need to handle this new turbo. My upgrade thread will show these being installed soon.

No idea about my power goal. I just want faster than stock, and driveable.
