The phone dials of an 86' 951 are the 23mm offset your looking for.

I think Tom is asking how he can use his 968 rims on an '83 (if he buys it), right Tom?

i have a set of 16" x7 all around 944 option fuchs. asking $600 or trade for the 968 style rims. i've already lined up a set of C2 style rims, just need to get the $600 for em. c'mon someone these fuchs are a steal! silver lip/black center in AWESOME condition, straight and true, with maybe some minor scratches. i've got pictures up at school.

are these fuchs?
What do you think this is worth? it needs a radiator so I cant start it. Carfax comes up clean.

Dont snake me and buy it first. If mine is recovered i will sell this for what i pay.

its an 83. wouldnt the fuchs be 15"?

I think the fuchs meant the car had the "sport" suspension. my brother's 84 has cookie cutters and the sport suspension.

i think one could get the sport suspension with either wheel, but if they got the fuchs they had to get the sport suspension.

it was the girls fathers toy. he died a few years ago and it has been sitting since. needs a radiator so it cannot be started. that makes me worry about the block.

she wants 3k. she said she got some obnoxious low ball offers, and not to waste her time if i was gonna low ball her. i will ask her what her bottom number is, and if below what the board thinks take her to the bank and withdraw the cash. overdraft is a wonderful thing.

Tom-

I'm thinking:

Shocks
Radiator
Belts/water pump, etc
Rubber
Seals (hatch, door, sunroof)
oil/fluid leaks

You know the deal! Are there at least receipts and records?

rubber, i have 15" from my brothers and 16" snows
seals, my brothers are fine. the car was garaged until two years ago.
leaks, yeah.
dent, who cares, it is a train car

Famous last words! I like the idea of the car, but it would suck to tow the car home, install a radiator, take it for a PPI, only to find a major problem (or several)! The low miles is cool, but age will take it's toll.

On the plus side, it IS a 944, and will look just as nice as your S2, and handle great if it has the sport suspension. It's just kinda ratty looking.

"Buy the best car you can afford", blah blah blah. These cars ain't cheap, etc.
