I'm looking for some parts for...

87 944 NA(dad's)
Driver's front fender
Driver's rear bumper end cap
Cassette holder/armrest hinge
Front windshield
Center caps for phonedials, I think I need 2, maybe 3
Rear hatch carpet, black
Door pannels, black(or something that I can dye black)
Console lid, black(or something I can dye black)

84 944(mom's)
windshield wiper side of the column switches, brown
wiper motor or the whole assembly
Fuchs center cap with gold crest(any color cap, needs the gold crest tho)

If anyone has or knows where I can get the bigger parts close to Cincinnati OH, I'd like to avoid shipping damages to a fender or windshield or door pannels.

No huge hurry, yeah Brian is a great guy, I hope he thinks the same of me, lol. I'd like to get some, most, all of the parts ASAP, but I'm not really in a hurry. It's a project, besides mine, I stay busy,lol.

Well I think we are coming out to wheeling tomorrow from Joisey. I will go up to the barn ,I know I have the hatch carpet, wwmotor ,late alum one though ,but it should work. doorpanels,possably the end cap although I think they are for a turbo.Stalk switch ,maybe.console ,but the hinge is weak.Sh.. have 10-12 of them. Don't buy anything till I find out tomorrow.

Cool man, thanks, let me know what you have. The early WW motor is supposedly different according to PET, I already have a late WW motor. The end cap for a turbo should be the same tho. A weak hinge is waaay better than nothing above the console,lol. Thanks

andy, are you sure its the switch? whats wrong with it? my inermittent wiper was messed up, turned out to be the relay, i had to stop the wipers myself, and the intermittent wouldnt work at all. turned out the relay board was cracked. i superglued it and solder/jumped the appropriate connection point, and it works just as stock now!

Well, when you turn it to lock or tight on a right hand corner, they go on untill you turn the car off. I cleaned the switch and it helped for a week or two. I pulled the fuse for the summer, I think it got wet (the motor) when the drains in the cowl got clogged, now it just blows the fuse immediately.

hmm... have someone loan you a good switch, replace the fuse, and try it, if its not the switch check the relay and/or the wires going to the motor, and/or pull the motor cover and check everything out. chances are the switch is fine, something tells me they dont go out too often. but then there's always those freak incidences...
