LOL Tabor! No, I'm not going to do that for a couple reasons. First, I have already done that a couple times on Rennlist. If the threads are lost from John D's changes then so be it. Second, you can't get the parts I use in small quantities and without a commercial account anyway. Third, I'm a generally nice guy but why would I throw away all the R&D I did on this harness giving out measurements and whatnot?
So just use #4 gauge off the alternator to your relays and #10 off to the rest. Cover with sleeve, crimp, solder, and seal terminals. A few other items just search Rennlist.
Yes Olli, you got the last one.

And Olli, you Finns are upgrade crazy. Get the harness installed and you will see how much it improves lighting. Then that will add a couple more Finn customers to the list for the new build so led can finally see on dark nights in Puerto Rico.

For those who haven't seen the quality IceShark puts into his work, here's a few shots of the harness in my TurboS:
Harness ends
Twin Hella relays and fuses - waterproof sockets
90/100 Phillips Narva bulbs from Germany (4 to a kit - 2 spares!)
new ground strap too!
Cibie E Code lens - precision ground lens

Bottom line, near impossible to duplicate in small quantities!
Let's get more people to commit to another run!
Brian, better count me in for another harness!

Ok guys, I'll start a new list. The reason I want upwards of 25 people is that is what it takes to order the connector parts like the relay bases, relays, etc. and get reasonable prices.
The way I was doing this was to take deposits of $100 to make sure people were serious buyers. That worked well so we will do it again. If the build doesn't happen, you get your money back of course.
I'm also not sure if there will be any parts choke points. Additionally, I may have to pop the $349.50 "Full Boat" price by 10 bucks as the Euro went up against the Greenback and I was told the Cibie lens prices would be jacked. I'll find out what the deal is but $10 isn't so much on $349.50 (which includes the shipping in the lower 48 USA, a couple more bucks to Canada). The package details and price breakdown can be seen at Danno's site at:
http://www.gururacing.net/
Click on the lighting button.
So sign up if you want and just send me a check for $100 to:

I hope posting my address doesn't cause me a nightmare but my emails are getting too large, at least for me.

Thanks Dan - and to EVERYONE for participating. I just need the harness - and another GROUND STRAP (the one from the battery to the bell housing) kit. As you know, the 968 cannot use the Cibie lens.
Hey everybody, don't worry about sending Dan the $100 deposit! Just get on this list!
Dan, the deposit is on the way! Thanks!

Tabor, it was never a "business", I was just doing this for the Rennlist 944 community as sort of a stress relief pastime. I'm a CPA by profession that should have gone into engineering. If it turned into a business, great!
But the 944 community being so small that isn't going to happen anytime soon. Some want me to expand to other cars, so who knows where it will end up. But I can't give out all the specs. Sorry. Besides, it would cost you a small fortune to try and duplicate on your lonesome.
