Anyone game? Regular weekly get-together to wrench on our cars? I am thinking my place on Saturdays, from 10-noon.
Gimme your thoughts...

Scott...sounds fun... too bad I live in Vancouver WA state....
But I make frequent trips to Lenexa and Olathe for work....can I be an honorary member? In fact, I had just returned from Olathe to inspect some of the trucks that we will be shipping to to Saudi Arabia ...man, was it hot out there...110-degrees!!!!
This will also mean that you'll have to let me test drive your cars while I am in town, okay???

I was thinking the same thing, but in a few years, I'm planning on buying a lot to build a nice garage on in the future. I don't have the means to do it now. I'd suggest that you just move up here to Cincy, lol.

Wenching, wrenching, its all about the same, ain't it? You wind up spending too miuch money and time on it, and when you are done, you still want more...
No shortage of projects here, Stephen... for my cars, I have a nasty oil leak on the '84 I need to resolve, plus I think its time to do a clutch job and replace the torque toob on it, and general maintenance stuff on it (cv's, brakes, etc). The '86 951, lessee... finish dialing in the Lindsey MAF on it, swap in the 55# injectors and 3.0 fpr I picked up from Magown, fix the rear main seal leak on it, etc etc... The 968 doesn't need much of anything at the moment,. thank goodness...
Of course, I still have to heal up before I can do anything, but I am getting antsy and figure I can get some of the other locals guys to come over and let me feel productive while they get some stuff done to their cars, too.

I have a few projects coming up, too - timing belt/water pump/rollers, etc., install Weltmiester springs and drop the rear. Definitely count me in but due to job/family I'd probably only make it out once a month or so.

First session will be next Saturday at 10am at my house, then... who's in and what shall we work on? If no onbe has any suggestions, then I will start with something on one of my cars.

Just need directions..
One of these weekends I need to do a filter and oil change on my transmission. Have the filter and seal kit, just need to pick up the transmission fluid (any suggestions).
I have an Ungo alarm to install, but that is probably one of those.. work on it, get pissed, walk away, and come back to it, projects.

You win... thats our first official wrenching project. We can shoot the breeze about p-cars in general and plan additional projects while we take care of yours...
I will email directions and details later this week.

That just means you will need to bring donuts and beer (before 10:30 am snack, Noon lunch ) since you are missing this week. And Johnny's Space Age donuts are much better than Crispy Creme (although the box disturbs me)!
How is your project coming? Starter fixed? Get the tires on? Do we need to make a group trip to St. Louis to get your title?

Hey, I'm always up for beer and doughnuts! As for the project, the starter is back in and it's running like a champ! The tires aren't on yet. Just been too lazy to take them in. As for the title, I'll send you an email about that. Can I just say, AUGH!!!
