crazy american 944's. My 85.5 has a 100Km/L gauge.... try doing that math in your head. It tells you how many Litres you will use for every 100Km. Who does that do any good for???

The euro's don't have the stupid shift light, or the annoying door buzzer... I can also turn my brights and fog lights on at the same time!!!

Techmonkey, what did you do to make your high beams work without automatically shutting off the fog lights?

I actually kind of like those onboard computer thingys they have on the early BMWs. It makes your feel like you are really driving a machine. would be cool on a 944 with a screen installed (S2 nut).

Yeah those are cool, I was talking about the actual guage that is super-useless. If you're coasting or your foot is not on the gas, the needle goes off the scale on the 50mpg+ side, and as soon as you touch the pedal it goes off the scale on the 0mpg- side. Stupid thing. The on board computers on BMWs are great. The one on my M3 has a kill switch wired in, so you can put in a number when you are getting out of the car, and it won't start next time until you enter in that code. I almost always use it on that car.
