I've got a 86 190 E here at the shop that sat for approx 3 years. I finally got it to run but it barely runs won't hardly rev. I took the fuel block apart (later told I shouldn't have) Car only has 22k on it. Do I need a fuel dist block? I don't get many of these in so I'm a little lost on it. TIA

Maybe you've already covered this, but you don't just have a case of old stale gas do you ? Also, is it a CIS fuel injection system ?

I had a case of clogged fuel injectors in my 1990 2.6. No one could figure out what the problem was until "BUBBA" too an air hose to em. Ran like silk after that.

I drained the fuel out and took the block off and tore it apart and cleaned it. Yes it's CIS much like some of the VW's etc. One of the injectors was bad the pintle fell out of it and it was drowning that cylinder in fuel. I replaced it as well as the fuel filter and cleaned the rest of the injectors. The customer parked it due to it running the battery down every night. It has yet to drain the battery while I've it here, I think their old battery was just bad. Thanks for the replies.
