Default Door Check.......

While replacing my speakers I noticed the bolts that hold the door check (in door) were missing. I installed new bolts and now I have a functioning door check. Now I notice that the bolts that attach the arm to the body are loose. I tried to tighten them but they are either stripped out, or the threaded section is spinning. Is this a threaded plate that is stripped out, or just nuts that are just spinning? Any way to get at these things, without pulling the fender etc? I don't dare pulling the bolts out, made that mistake ONCE.

Thanks

You have to pull the interior to get to the back of the front door pilllar.

Got that???

I've had the two 12 point socket heads strip and had to drill them out. A real PITA.
