Wow, that's quite a project to hit you right out of the blue. OTOH, since you know what you're doing, it sounds like the perfect time to build a monster, like so many folks do in these forums.

Nah! I'm not going to go that far. Just make sure that the car runs fine, and that's OK by me. I can't justify spending that much on a car that takes me to work and back (He says, just totting up the money spent on bolt-on bits!).

I don't really have the facilities here either. If I was back in the UK, I'd probably do it no problem, and take 6 months, but time is a killer here. The plan is to borrow a mates garage (and him!) and do a swap in 2 days! He's a pro, so it *should* be OK.
