Default 931 parting out in the classifieds. Anyone looking for a vented nose panel?

A few people have asked me where I got the 931 vented nose panel. I was lucky enough to get a lead on one from a fellow Rennliste awhile back (Thanks Carl Nall!). So, I am passing on a favor to another fellow Rennlister.

If someone buys it and has any installation questions, just email me.

For some reason, I can find no link to the classifieds..maybe they are down or something. The "jump" tool has has the word "classifieds" in it but no button to activate it, there is no "classifieds" button at the top of this page, there is NO mention of the word "classifieds" on the main page.. How frustrating! ::GRRR:::

Tifo, great job organizing the run this weekend, I hope ya have a great turnout and weather.. I'm bumming I won't be there.. Take lots of pics and vid!

According to the ad on the link I posted, it is white. The sellar states that the car's paint is not in good shape, so even if your car is white, it would probably need paint anyway. The good thing is the panel is small and basically flat, so painting off the car is a snap. It will fit your car with a little bit of preparation and work. It's not very hard. If you get it, let me know and I can write up a short tutorial for you with pics.

That would fit with very little modification (bolt on correct?) for a 924S right? I was looking to get the vented panel as i think it would help marginally in cooling the engine, plus i like the way it looks. How much would one of these panels go for? $150?

Yep, it will fit a 924s the same as a 944. They are fairly hard to find, as there weren’t that many 931’s (and Carrera GT/S/R’s) sold and fewer still remaining. I’ve seen them go for anywhere from $150 to $300.

They do help with cooling a bit; my car runs a little cooler (and definitely looks cooler!).

That 931 hood would also look nice on your 924S... OR your 944, Tifo. I wonder if that right side scoop would serve to cool down high temps around the headers?

Won't work on my car with the upper strut tie bar that I have under the hood........

Good suggestion, though! I hope someone else gets it!
