Why not dig out a trench first around the wheels? That would help a ton.

rent a super-high power pressure washer with a gas motor, take it to the field the car is in and apply nuclear water to the dirt and blast yourself a ditch.

IMHO this is the only way I'd do it. Don't pull on any driveline parts. The torque tube is only attached to the bell housing and the transmission. Put a hook in each of the holes on the underside of the bumper.

why risk damaging it when you can dig it out? dig out a ramp for it and pull it out that way.

Better do it soon or you will have to wait till spring. Cold weather is coming back tomorrow and it will freeze that mud solid. Is the mud up to the floor pan? If so you need a lifting action on top of pulling or you will surely struggle.

tying onto the wheels will work well, the wheels are mounted to a suspension designed to take the full weight of the car, plus all braking and acceleration forces. if you rip the wheels off the car, it was stuck permanently anyway.
