Default 996 wheel fitment issues

SO im looking to fit these 996 wheels I have hade for a while to the 931 project....

But they wont seat.
Problem with the front is the bearing cap, it appears too big in diameter since at the end of the bore (inside the wheel) it starts to taper to the ring that holds the center cap.

Can i remove the bearing cap?

Now I the rear the problem is simillar as I needed to remove the factory spacer.
But again here, the end of the hub runs into the ring that holds the center cap....
whats the best way to make it fit. Can I grind on the end of the hub?

Hmmm, that can't be right. atleast with the rear. With out the spacer the studs were too long, and the nuts wouldnt bolt the wheel all the way, but for some reason is didn't seem to seat all the way when i pushed it.
But looking at the inside of the wheel, the hub center clearly isnt that long, to bottom out.

You need a spacer up front, that's how I run 996 wheels on my s2. Longer studs and steel nuts are strongly suggested. Don't grind.
